I get that they are all worried and don’t want to involve other people in their problems but they are all friends? So what’s wrong with helping each other out? Also, I just wanna say Jihoon is kinda dumb like serious dumb. They sure enjoy keeping information and plans to themselves and get all mad when someone does something reckless. What annoyed me a lot when I was reading the book was THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION between the characters. I love the history of Junu past in between chapters cause that’s interesting and it keeps me yearning for more as I read on. So in the romance department, it was already expected but the twist is something I was looking forward to.

The romance was pretty predictable cause the characters that bicker the most are often the ones that fall in loves unless it’s some major plot twist like Somin likes Miyoung or Junu falls for Jihoon (that’ll be hilarious af). I could literally imagine the amazing ost in 12 parts and the bomb outfits Junu will be wearing in each episodes oof (should I put a look book together?) Jihoon sounds like someone that would live in jeans/sweats and hoodie all day long cause idk man he just gives me that vibe.

This feels like a very intense K-drama in a book and I enjoyed it tremendously. Finished it in one sitting cause it kept making me wanting more and more and it was impossible to put the book down even though it was well past midnight.

This book is so much more intense than Gumiho: Wicked Fox. With few options remaining, Junu has an idea but it might require the ultimate sacrifice and, let’s be honest, Junu isn’t known for his “generosity.” Meanwhile, the events at the end of Wicked Fox have upended the forces that govern life and death and there are supernatural entities lurking in the background that will stop at nothing to right their world. But Miyoung is getting sicker and sicker by the day and her friends don’t know how to save her. With the support of their friend Somin, and their frenemy, Junu, they might just have a shot at normalcy. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young ReadersĪs Vicious Spirits begins, Miyoung and Jihoon are picking up the pieces of their broken lives following the deaths of Miyoung’s mother, Yena, and Jihoon’s grandmother.
